With Cephx, you can generate an automated cephalometric tracing from CBCT image.

Utilizing artificial intelligence, our system detects the position of the patient's head and aligns it perfectly, in terms of rotation and angulation.

In order to receive the full AI landmark detection and cephalometric tracings from the CBCT, it is recommended that you upload a CBCT with a full field of view.

The first step is to upload the DICOM/CBCT file, enter the "Patients list" main dashboard, click "New Patient", fill in the patient's details, and then select the DICOM format.

Depending on a few variables, processing the DICOM may take as long as 20 minutes.

You will be notified by email once the CBCT segmentation has been completed.

The segmentation can be viewed by selecting "View STL" from the 3D actions menu.

In addition to the segmentation, you can view the Airway volume report, download the segmentation as separate STL files, download a video of the segmentation, and generate a Panoramic image (read more).

The ceph tracing may go to “In review” which refers to manual review by an analysis expert to ensure the accuracy of the tracing. The processing may take up to 1 business day.

Ceph images with various filters from the CBCT will be displayed in the image gallery as well as 2D section slices, panoramic images, and more.

Once the cephalometric tracing is completed, In the 2D action menu (Download/Trace-Edit), you will be able to download and edit the ceph tracing.

You can choose from 100 different cephalometric analyses.

Please let us know if you need a custom analysis or simply use the Analysis editing tool to create your own analysis.
