Introducing the new Remove Braces feature: when uploading intraoral scan (IOS) data, you can now select the Remove Braces option during the upload process for improved visualization and comparison.
How does it work
To access this feature, upload an intraoral scan (IOS) for the patient. Select the patient, then click Upload STL from the dropdown under the 3D Actions column.
On this page, you can upload one or more IOS scan files for processing.
The Remove Braces feature is available in the Intraoral View within the 3D View.
Select the View 3D option under the 3D Actions column.
In the 3D viewer, select the Intraoral View feature in the View Module.
Clicking Opened Gingiva removes the upper gingiva, providing a clearer view of the teeth.
Clicking Focus hides the surrounding structures, allowing you to focus on the teeth.
Clicking Original restores the original scan, including the braces.
