You can now apply a realistic facial texture from a frontal face image onto a patient’s 3D head model generated from CBCT data.
How does it work
Upload through the Image Gallery
Click New Patient and fill in the required patient information.
Then upload either a frontal image using the Image Gallery option.
3. You will be redirected to the Image Gallery, where the uploaded image will be automatically identified as one of the following:
Once the image has been identified automatically (or labeled manually), the Apply Face Texture button will appear in the Image Gallery. Click this button to apply the frontal image as a facial texture to the CBCT segmentation.
Open the 3D Viewer. A Face button will now be available. Click it to automatically display the facial texture over the segmented CBCT model, providing a realistic 3D facial visualization.
You can open the DICOM Viewer to examine the CBCT scan in detail.
The viewer displays the axial, sagittal, and coronal slice planes, along with the segmented 3D CBCT model in the top-left corner. Scroll through each slice using the navigation controls to explore the patient's anatomy layer by layer. This allows you to inspect anatomical structures, verify segmentation accuracy, and evaluate the scan from multiple perspectives.
